Teasley was waived by Atlanta on July 3 after compiling 3.9 points and 3.5 assists per game in 10 contests with the Dream.

The six-foot point guard spent her first four WNBA seasons with Los Angeles, where she hit the game-winner in the 2002 title game and was named MVP of the All-Star game the following year.

Teasley has averaged 8.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists throughout her career.

Coming out of college, I thought Nikki was going to dominate the league. One of my college friends was from the DC area and told me she would kill dudes on the court. Didn't live up to what I thought she'd be in the league. But she was super talented. I wonder what she has left.

Speaking of UNC guards, I also wonder how Marion Jones would have done in the WNBA if she pursued pro ball, and didn't juice up of course.
