I don't know what player... I'm just sad Houston is gone. I was never a fan, but they are the original dynasty...

dang...i go away for just a little while to pay attention to the U of Michigan women's team (who, by the way, are doing just fine so far this season!) and all of a sudden there is one less WNBA team.

Yes, that is a shame that the Comets are no more. Maybe they will come back some day, like the Cleveland Browns...although that is not exactly the same situation as the original Browns moved to Baltimore while the Comets are shutting down entirely.

There are some good players there...i assume the Shock are picking last because they won the title last year??? If so then yeah, the pickings likely won't be as good once the Shock's turn comes. Still, you never know.

Thing is, there's a lot of players on that team who will be unrestricted free agents meaning they won't be eligible in the draft I don't think. So only about 6-8 teams will get a pick, most likely Detroit won't.

It is a shame to see Houston go....I don't know why the attendance is not better.... The WNBA is a good product....

Detroit declined on selecting a player in todays draft.

It's a sad day in the WNBA when the team that won the first four titles in the league had to close it's doors.....
