The Detroit Shock has signed free-agent guard Anna DeForge.
DeForge, released by Minnesota at the end of training camp last month, has averaged 10.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in her seven-year career.
An All-Star in 2007, the 5-foot-10 DeForge is a 38% shooter from three-point rage.
“Anna’s a proven veteran who can step in right away and provide us perimeter scoring,” Shock general manager and assistant coach Cheryl Reeve said in a released statement.
DeForge averaged 8.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists for the Lynx last year. She began her WNBA career with Detroit in 2000 and also spent three seasons with Phoenix, and two with Indiana.

This was post was made by me, I had forgotten to log my sister out of the computer.
________________________ She's a pretty girl, she's always falling down, and I think I just fell in love with her. But she won't ever remember, remember. And I can always find her, at the bottom of a plastic cup....drowning in drunk sincerity, a sad and lonely girl.
Hamstrings can be tricky things....come back too soon & you aggravate it again. Candice Wiggins had one just before the season started....best to give it a few games.
On the bright side, we beat Conn., should have beat them in Detroit too! Hopefully Haynie comes around SOON! Happy to see Anna contributing so soon (must be all the quality time she spent in Minny!)
