Incase you didn't notice, the days of DETROIT BASKETBALL, are just about over. Thankfully, the Shock are the last ones holding on to that battle cry. This Piston season could be as bad as the 2000 season with the last of the teal! But ladies and gents, we can't let this stop us from having some fun ONE LAST TIME, DETROIT STYLE! The Shock sit one game away from making the Finals, AGAIN! And when they get to the finals, I think we need to SHOW UP ONCE AGAIN! Just like when the Red Wings fans showed up to support the Vipers for the Turner Cup, it's time for the remaining passionate PISTON FANS, to turn out and support this great Shock team.
Now we don't know if this is the last year for the WNBA or the team, but as we know of late, Detroit has lost a lotta things. Mr.D, Chuck Daly, Tiger Stadium, and soon to be Ernie Harwell. We have something special with this ladies and this area, as cash strapped and beaten down as it is, still needs to come out and support this team to a title. For all we know, it could be our last one for awhile! Nobody figured the Wings would lose, the college and other pro sports are just starting and have to play out. And the Tigers are up in the air as of now. So IT'S TIME METRO DETROIT, ONE LAST TIME! It's time to break out the old red white and blue, get your butt heading to the Palace if you can, and help get these Bad Girls, one last title! And if this is the last time, LET THE WORLD KNOW WHAT DEEEEEETTTRRRROOOOIIIIITTT BBBBAASSSSKKEEETTTBAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL REALLY MEANT! GO SHOCK AND I'LL HOPEFULLY SEE SOME OF YOU THERE!
P.S.Last year as we walked out of EMU's basketball building, nobody seemed to really enjoy that championship but me. Because I was the fool standing in the door screaming, DETTROITTTTT BASSKEEEETTTBBBALLLLLLLLL! And when I did that, I GOT A SMILE OUT OF A LOT OF YOU! And you put one on my face too! I WANT TO SMILE AGAIN!

Hell yeah, those girls played one heck of a game last night - Detroit Style! And without Katie Smith and Plenette Pearson! They really showed some guts and grit and the frustration of the Fever as the game unfolded was priceless!
My only beef is that with their crap record this season we only get one home game per series here in the Playoffs.
And how about that Shivante Zellous? She could be the future leader of this team. Her and Tweaty are bad to the bone!
