Congrats to Coach Mahorn on his first win as Head Coach today! Nice to have Kara back - she did great! I really think this game marks the turning point for the rest of the season - the Shock are back! Cool

yes, i think having Kara back and Cheryl healthy makes a BIG difference. it gives the Shock much more of an inside game, and makes them less one dimensional.

Wow, Shavonte Zellous is really having a great season so far.

Now the team needs to string together some more wins, and get back into the top four in the East.

I won't jump to any conclusions...afterall, this IS Sacramento we just beat, and take a look at their record. But the ladies did play pretty well. Braxton played a limited number of minutes but ACTUALLY seemed to be playing hard and playing well. Haynie got more than her usual share of minutes (Mahorn likes Haynie, he plays her more than BL) and was playing hard and tough. The box score claims 4 steals, which is pretty impressive, but I think she had even more. Good minutes for her. Cheryl Ford is clearly not 100%, but is getting better and made a number of really good plays. Zellous is getting better offensively but needs to learn to take better shots. All in all a good game for the ladies.
