On Monday, the Shock added former MSU forward Kristen Rasmussen to complete its 15-player lineup. Only 11 players will earn roster spots, but coach Bill Laimbeer said Rasmussen's skills in the frontcourt made her an appealing option.
"There's a definite need for a post player that can play in the perimeter, which she can do," he said. "There's a roster spot open, and we wouldn't have asked her to come to our training camp if we didn't think she had a very good chance of making it."
Rasmussen, 6-4, played for Okemos High and finished her career at MSU in 2000. She's had a nine-year WNBA career with stops in eight cities -- she spent last season with Minnesota -- and also has played overseas

She will not make the team,and predict that she will be cut after next game.
